My name is Jaime Adele Drysdale
I’m the one on the left, although my partner’s name is also Jaime:
For over fifteen years, I have been designing/building websites for myself, friends, businesses and clubs that I have been in. Web related activities have been a hobby for a long time. All this work has been extra curricular, and done in my spare time. Definitely an activity that I love doing!
For eleven years, finishing in January 2010, I was employed by Quest Software. A US based company with offices in many countries, I was working in their Melbourne office. My final position at Quest, was Project Manager. I managed several projects, where I coordinated software releases that comprised of distributed development across multiple countries, and time zones. I worked as a Project Manager for approximately three years. Prior to taking this role, I had been working as a Quality Analyst Team Lead, coordinating the testing of all types of applications, including (but not limited to); client, client/server, database server, web based. Writing and reviewing of technical documentation, user requirements, software requirements etc. I was also heavily involved in setting up and maintaining numerous Microsoft Sharepoint web and Intranet sites, for both reference and project management and progress tracking. Many people at Quest, would ask for my assistance in Sharepoint administration (let’s face it, it’s not an easy tool to use).
Quest, being a publicly listed US company, was constantly under pressure from shareholders… and the US economy, being what it was leading up to 2010, meant that life at Quest was a quarter by quarter proposition. I survived around 5 rounds of retrenchments, but was given my retrenchment notice two weeks before Christmas 2009, with my final day being in January 2010.
I thought long and hard, and decided to start my own web design business. As hosting the website is an integral part of having one, I opted to purchase a Web Hosting Re-seller package from a professional and reputable hosting company. Over the years, through personal experience/trial and error, I have become very familiar with what is important in a hosting company. I have found a solution that satisfies me, and as I have very high expectations, you can rest assured that the web hosting I provide will cause you no headaches.
My main motivation in setting up a hosting service, was to have a solid and reliable hosting solution for my own web customers. But as offering the service to others comes with relatively low overhead, I am making it available to anyone that is interested.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time, with questions that you have in relation to getting your own website up-and-running, setting up your own mail server (for yourself or your business), help or advice in obtaining a domain name for personal or business use, in fact anything in relation to web hosting and maintenance. If I don’t know the answer, I will do the research and provide you with the right advice!
