I think it's the best value software that I have ever purchased. It makes life so much easier, when working with WordPress themes. Their email updates don't seem to work though. I have registered with two different email addresses, but have never received a notification. The only way I find out about new version releases, it to periodically visit their website and check their 'News' page. Plus, now I follow them on twitter (but even that is very quiet). I too use the Mac version. It is a tad unstable (depending on what you are doing) but noting you cannot work around. Yes, we do use Artisteer.
