There is a standard format for a Premium Uglii. Any registered business will be able to purchase a Premium Uglii Listing from its individual Control Panel. You will be able to insert your logo in the top panel, insert an image and several paragraphs of descriptive text into a template provided by the Uglii Systems. There is no section to insert a hyperlink to your business website from a Premium Uglii.

The Uglii Marketplace is an Online Directory and Business Information Service designed to assist businesses in exposing their products and services to both their local community and worldwide, thus providing potential buyers with specific, detailed and relevant search results and almost unlimited information about the products and services in which they are interested. Users are able to not only locate businesses that match precisely their search criteria but also examine credentials and testimonials, discover what other customers think about the products and services they’re interested in, as well as contributing their own reviews.

Businesses register through the website of an Uglii Affiliate such as this one. Generally a business goes through two processes in registering. The first is the registering process (this takes around 3-4 minutes) and the second is the process of making itself discoverable on the Uglii Find Business Directory System by creating their ‘Ugli’. Once a business registers, it is automatically presented with its own Uglii Control Panel which it can log into at any time. A Username and Password is required to access the Control Panel.

No, all businesses must verify that they are who they say they are. Affiliates must obtain sufficient evidence from all businesses they register to accumulate 100 veracity points.


Verification may include the submission of such documentation as:

• A Business Registration Number.

• Driver’s License / Passport etc.

The principle of verification will always be upheld. Full information on verification can be provided to you by your registering affiliate.

No. The only way a business can register is through an Affiliate. A business cannot register directly with SISS, a Global Partner or a National Partner.

The Uglii Systems automatically create a Control Panel for the registered business where you can login and use all free services such as free discoverability on the Uglii Mapping System or free advertising, buy any Uglii Service that’s required and see any business services or deals that the National Partner or Global Partner is offering.


The system will automatically give business statistics on the exposure it has had through searches and will make recommendations on services that may be of assistance.

Your business remains listed for as long as you wish to. There is no sunset date. However, your listing is removed if your ABN becomes invalid.

Yes. Each branch will be given its own unique Uglii.
You can then set up an Uglii Locator, that displays a map with all of your business locations to your customers (the Uglii Locator is not a free service).

Your Control Panel controls everything about your listing and you can make changes relating to your business as often as required. Your Control Panel also allows you to make purchases of other Uglii Services.

This is a free service in all countries for any legitimate businesses.


Once a business is registered, it can choose to purchase additional services from Uglii. So whilst the Black Uglii is free, the business can elect to pay for a link to their website. When they pay for the link, the Black Uglii becomes a Blue Uglii. Alternatively if the business does not have an existing website they can purchase a premium Uglii giving them a brochure type advertisement. Their black Uglii would then become a Green Uglii.

There are over 40 Uglii Services. Some are free and most have a fee. Some are general in their application and so will be of value to most businesses and some are quite specialised and have been developed for specific industry groups.


The fee for each service varies and may depend on several factors. Optimising your Uglii Listings in the relevant Services will provide an extremely powerful and cost effective online marketing tool which will almost certainly be a fraction of your existing advertising or marketing budget.

When a business first registers in the Uglii Systems it will be given its own individual Control Panel so that it has total control of every aspect of its listing.
All of the Uglii fee based services are available for purchase from this Control Panel. You will be intuitively prompted through the add-to-cart process, and be able to review all costs prior to committing to the purchase.

When it is fully populated, the new Uglii Systems will be one of the first truly global online market place systems, however, it also will provide a powerful local online directory where everyone will be able to search on any fixed or mobile device by name or product or other parameters within a specified radius or from their current location and only receive results that match their exact search criteria.


There will also be instances where visitors from other areas on holidays or business may need various services when they are away and so would be able to easily research their requirements before they arrive.

Yes, you can elect to purchase an Uglii Link (Blue Dot). When a business or consumer does a search and your Uglii shows up on the map, it will be identified as a Blue Dot. In addition your business name will be listed in the search results in Blue. The business or consumer can click either on your business name or Uglii and will be linked directly to your website.


An Uglii Link can be purchased through your personalised Control Panel. Once you purchase your Uglii Link your Black Dot will change to a Blue Dot, and your “Key Words” character limit increases from 250 to 5000.


In addition you can imbed an interactive map on your website identifying where your business is located once you have purchased your Uglii Link.

A registered business can upgrade its Black Uglii to an Ultimate (Blue) Uglii that links directly to the businesses existing website. When a searcher clicks on the Uglii they can go directly to the businesses own website.


Searchers soon learn that there is more information about the businesses represented by Blue Dots. In search results these businesses appear above the Ugliis that are not linked to a website.

Any business can login to their Uglii Control Panel and purchase an Ultimate Uglii.


The business simply selects the link “Create an Ultimate Uglii” from the Control Panel, adds its website’s URL to the details provided in its listing and purchases through the payment gateway.

The Control Panel automatically keeps the user advised of events in the system that are relevant to them. For example if a business is a reseller of a brand’s products or services, the Control Panel will advise when the brand commences promoting the business through the brand’s website. It will also notify the business when requests for offers are received for products or services the business sells in that business catchment area.


The Control Panel will recommend to the business Uglii Services that will improve its marketing performance. Further the Control Panel has delegation facilities. These allow the business to pass management of Uglii Services to people within the business or to third parties to manage on the businesses behalf. If the business is a large one it can also create registrations for its subsidiaries.
